      So, I found this 32" redfish floating in the ICW. As I got closer, I discovered that he had actually choked to death while trying to consume a 10" female diamondback terrapin.

      After contacting SC DNR, I discovered that this truly was an anomoly. The terrapin has never been know to DNR to be a consistant source of the redfish's diet. No one at SC DNR had ever seen anything quite like these pictures. It just goes to show fisherman that redfish are opportunistic feeders and apparently aren't all that picky....or perhaps this over slot fish (for SC) thought he was just a strange looking blue crab.
