On 10/14/12 we were fishing San Jose lagoon in Puerto Rico on the "Extremist" with my cousin Captain Juan Torruella. A very dark storm was coming in as my wife(Debby Aydlett) cast here live bait(sardine) a large rolling tarpon, as the bait hit the water this tarpon hits here bait and jumps right next to the boat, it was huge! As Captain Juan instructs her on how to fight this large tarpon the bottom drops with massive amounts of rain, she continues to battle this tarpon for an hour and a half. Finally, after this long battle Captain Juan pulls this 80+ tarpon out of the water as the sun comes out just long enough to for me to get this amazing picture of the tarpon she caught on 12 pound Ande line on a medium heavy St.Croix rod with a 4000 Shimano. What a great trip we went 43 hits for 21 caught, good times on her first tarpon trip! The
