While the white marlin season is ending we are still catching some ,but for us is not a big thing to worry ,because the blue marlin season is just starting in our local water.one of our boat ALTA MAR (SEA RAY 40 feet )skipper by Luis Alberto and mate Marco Ventura at only 7 miles offshore had a really big bite of a blue marlin they were fighting with the animal for about 10 minutes and at the end he broke the line.the captain said it was about 400 pounds,the fisherman a young boy 16 years old, was emotioned to make his deams come true.2 hours later they had 2 white marlin bites,on a 30 penn reel with 40 line they released one and keept the other one it was an extra size 72 pounds for him it was the bigest fish he ever caught.

Stop killing your billfish! Let your fish swim free. You kill these fish to use for mounts, but taxidermy's don't use any of the fish and you are only destroying the resource. Learn to rig your baits with circle hooks and the fish and your business will be much better off.
