Australian tuna season is shaping up to be a beauty
Hi all in the States...We have been battling gakle winds and rough seas in both June and July , however when we can venture to the wide grounds the fishing is gold. Last Monday the weather broke and there were several great tuna caught. Southern blues to 240lb, big eye to 176lb and yellowfin to 190 lb.
We fish an area called Browns Mountain around 21 nm from Sydney NSW.. Our normal season on our charter boats BROADBILL and BILLFISHER will see us catching some pretty special tuna See our web site www.gamefishingcharters.com.au for better photos..Method, both chumming and trolling. This season looks like being a honker . Once the weather breaks I will keep you abreast of results. There is a full report on some beaut ozzie snapper on our site..I will try to post photos sometimes it works somtimes not
