Despite the lousy tides, (Keepdreamin' and Shadowcast) we found some reds and caught reds at each spot we hit. We caught 2 undersized, 3 oversized, and 1 slot. I heard there were teams who weighed in nothing so I know we are not in last place.....

Congrats to TJ Stewart for winning the tourney with over 15 pounds and biggest fish.

Good tides, good solunars, good action, LOUSY WIND!!!!!!!!(S 15-25) We were on fish at every spot Rob and I went to, again. We hooked up on a 22" trout first thing....thought it was a slot red. Found some other fish that would not commit to our artificials right after the trout. We worked many flats VERY hard and probably fished at least 100 mullet schools with artificials and live bait. We finally (1:00 pm) connected with some reds (and snook) along a mangrove shoreline adjacent to an oyster bar. This one fell to a 3" DOA Golden Bream Shadtail on a 1/16 oz. Mustad Power Lock hook. The rest were undersized. At least we took a fish to the weigh in, so we got some points........however many points a 19", 3.25# red can get you!
