    Default Cobia still in the Sound

    95% of the boats fishing for Cobia have left the Broad River and the Sound but the Cobia have not. No great catches but we did mange 4 the last few days. You have to fight through the Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks but if you keep baits down and chum on top Cobia can be caught. More good news, the past 3 trips we have jumped at least 1 Tarpon per trip. Great sight to see a 100lb fish explode on a top bait. We did land one two days ago that was not huge but put on a great show jumping at least 8 times.
