Jr. Angler and Hookinfinger
Crew Dennis (hookinfinger), my cousin Kalab, John (the original Jackass), and his definitely better half Connie. Fished the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Well we all meet at 0600 except for John who was bit by allergies this Friday night Now he can be called Team Slackass Well we set off to make bait small spot and croaker. We saw a Jimmy throwing a cast net and picked up some finger mullet and we were off to the CBBT for some live bait floundering. Got to the bridge at 0800 and started between the 2nd and 3rd with nothing to show. Saw some nice spades around the pilings but we were fishing for flounder and did change up. Around 1030 we made our way between the 4th and the eastern shore. It took 10 to 14oz of lead to hold bottom. Dennis gets a hit and up comes a 22" striper and back he goes to grow up and get live eeled when he is about 80lbs one day Well we worked down the pilings real hard and Dennis hooks a nice and fat 22" flat fish that went about 5lbs. He said that fish is his wife Irene's. And I don't blame him or else she'll kill him, I have met her she is Greek OPA we then had a steady pick of toads for awhile and then notta. So we moved back around the 3rd for some spade fish. No love on the spades but this is where the Jr. Angler award happened for my Cousin Kalab. We all had spade gear out and the spades weren't cooperating but the bottom fish were for Kalab and here is the list. Croaker, Spot, Sea Bass, Toad Fish, Puffer Fish, and a 21" Flounder on a spade rig with clam That fish weighed 4lbs. Congrats Cuz you da man. One side note he is a staight A student and wants to be an Orthodontist. Imagine that! Well no love for the rest of the crew but a great day on the water and I will redeem myself another day. Here are some pics enjoy
