Today, Keith Gallageher and his crew came down to the Silver Side Lodges to enjoy some of the outstanding Redfish and Speckled Trout fishing that we have in Hopedale.

With the temps down low and the water low the guys headed out around 6:00am geared up with every known clothing that Academy Sports sells. Bundled up some of the guys wanted reds and some wanted trout so that's how they fished.

Capt. Shane Robin's group hit the trout first thing this morning and limited out quick! The fish were where we left them Thursday. They were eating up plastics under a cork, mainly the Chartruese curltails worked best but the Truese Goose worked well also.

Capt. Joe's crew wanted reds so they headed deep into the marsh and hit the reds good. They limited out quick. 20 reds hitting the boat so fast that the guys decided to head where Capt. Shane hit his trout.

Capt. Shane headed to the spot Capt Joe limited on the reds and got his limit also of 15 reds.

The fishing is just starting to get to the peak of winter fishing so DON'T MISS OUT!!! CALL NOW!!!

The total was 156 trout and 35 reds with many more caught and released.
