The weather was perfect: no waves, no wind. We went out to 65 feet, dropped the jigs, and all 4 poles bent over at once with a quadruple hook up on AJs. The fish were very aggressive today. The water warmed up to 62 degrees, and that made for a great grouper, snapper, and AJ bite. The bite never slowed down today so we just fished till everyone was tired of pulling in fish. The deep grouper bite is still real good and the AJs are still schooling up thick over structure. It looks like December is going to be a good Offshore month.
As always, another good set of pictures. I fish south of you and have yet to find published reefs, rocks, ledges in that depth water. Everything around here ( Bayport) is 25- 35'. How hard is it to troll up good spots out that far? Anyway, you guys always show some great pic's.
I don't troll out that deep I know some people do but I have some good private #s that I anchor on. there are some great spots to troll in crystal river in 25-35 feet and in cedar key that are public reefs.
