Jimbo gave me a call because he got off work early around 1pm said lets go get some snook. So Steve and I met him at the dock. We got to the oyster bars and threw topwater lures and suspending plugs for 2 hours with nothing but jack crevalle. We moved around a lot with no luck and were just about to go home because the sun was getting low but just before we left a big snook nailed my top water came up twice shook his head and spit my lure so we kept fishing and in less than a half hour we landed 6 average size snook and had about 6-8 hits that we missed. No big boys today but we had fun with the school of smaller snook that showed up. the snook were feeding all day Thursday but did not start today until 30 minutes before dark.
