Went out to find some grouper yesterday and the weather was bad early in the day so we stayed shallow in about 20 feet and tried our luck. It worked out good because we caught our limit of red grouper real quick and got our limit of gags 3 times over. Too bad we were not able to keep the gags yet. Most of the gags were between 22-27 inches. All the red grouper were fat. Bill got the biggest grouper of the day, an 18 pounder. We also got a couple of BIG redfish that should be making their way inshore soon. We moved out to about 30 feet when the waves laid down and caught more gags and Bill caught a huge shark. There are a bunch of grouper in the 20-25 foot range right now. It should be a great spring!!!
