Permit and Almaco Jacks were our targeted fish on this trip. We slammed the permit every morning and afternoon in 130-135 feet and in the middle of the day we pulled up Almaco and amberjacks one after another in 700+ feet on jigs. The jacks were averaging between 50-80 lbs. We caught a bunch of fish so we took a ton of pics on this trip. Steve and Jim brought their video camera to videotape us jigging in 700 feet and we got a few permit on tape too. Jim should put some videos up later. Here are some of the pics from the trip.
Steve with his 1st keeper dolphin I'm glad he was able to catch some bigger

Big hammerhead that was eating our jack
here is one of only 4 permit we caught on the reef. they were much easier to catch in deeper water because they spook much easier on the reef
