We went out with plans of trolling for kings and on the way out we ran past what looked like a big over-sized telephone pole floating in 30 feet. We turned around, hoping to see some tripletail or cobia under it but to our surprise it was loaded with small dolphin. We started casting small yozuri lures, gotcha plugs, and small bucktails. We caught easily over 100 dolphin off of it. We kept 16 that were between 20-23 inches. After covering the boat in blood we left the dolphin biting and went deeper to 45-50 feet and started trolling for kings. The kings were just as thick as they were when I left for the Keys over a week ago. It was not hard to get a limit of kings, but it was very difficult to avoid all the spanish macks that were mixed in with the kings. Around lunch time we took a short break from trolling and dropped some bait to the bottom and ended up catching 4 keeper red snapper and 2 shorts. Pete came out on the boat with us and got some great video footage of us catching the dolphin with FL Power in plain view and some awesome shots of the kings crushing the lures. He will edit some of the video on Saturday and I should have a Youtube link up by Monday.

Sorry no pics of the schoolies while they were alive. Those little guys don't like getting there pics taken.
