The Venice Gulf to Bay Classic (G2B) will take place April 30th and May 1st, 2010. This event is a benefit for the South County Family YMCA Children's Scholarship Program. The Venice YMCA is South Sarasota County's largest Childcare provider, turning no family away for inability to pay.

The event will have both Offshore and Inshore Divisions.

Categories include: Aggregate Grouper and Snapper Weight, Heaviest overall Grouper and Snapper, Heaviest Grouper and Snapper Ladies and Youth, Redfish, Redfish Ladies and Youth, and Tarpon digital Photo Release.

The event is being held at Marine Max in Venice with catered food, Live bands, kids dockside fishing tournament, raffles, prizes and lots of children's activities throughout the event.
