Default Big fat King and a stud cobia!

How do you say this, once in a lifetime trip here..2 live bluerunners, 1 baitrunner 6500 spooled with 40 # power pro, 30-50 all star 7'6'' rod to a wire rig. First freelined bait and a 65 minute battle I got this 89 pound lingasaurus in the box

Took a bottled water and tied a new stinger rig on, freelined the bait back...bam, solid hookup and a blistering run, 2 5 minutes later we stuck the gaff in this kingasaurus! 61.5 pounds on the button!

Total fishing time 3 hours, 75 feet of water.
    Fuel spent : 25 gallons
    Bait : $1.79
    Ice: $5.00
100 pounds of delicious steaks and fillets..priceless!

    That's how we roll!

Really awesome NE! You've been fishing twice in the last week?

I'd say you've got two really tough contenders for the 'Beat the Cobia' and 'Beat the Kingfish' threads........

I'd post my best (89.01 Cobia & 61.01 King), but I'm not in the pic.
