I took a walk on the beach the other day and there are Snook everywhere in the shallows. Specifically, on the North end of Siesta Key beach, just before it starts to turn to the pass, I saw schools of them

I went out the following afternoon and managed to get two of them to strike at a Rebel shallow water minnow.

Early morning at sunrise is always the best time to hook-up with these beach Snook. The water gets explosive with them.
