    Default 7-18-2010 Flounder

Been trying to get on the flounder recently, seeing as how they are my favorite inshore fish to catch. In fact, the only two things I love more than catching flounder is sightfishing cobia and freelining for kings from the pier.

Finally got enough good mullet and we caught 3 keepers, the biggest was 25". We also got a trash can slam, a nurse shark and pulled 2 people out of some rough surf when they lost power on their boat.

You were too far away. I can't wait until the mullet run when the monsters come in.

I used to fish Sebastian but I am quickly learning I don't need to go all the way down there, especially if I have access to a boat.

We did alot of night Snook fishing also at Sebastian, but like you say you can pretty much do anything at Canaveral if you so desire.
