    Default Need help choosing guide

Hello. My son(13) and I are going to be staying in the Spring Hill area from April 5th-12th. We want to charter a inshore trip during our stay. I have spent a fair amount of time narrowing down potential guides based on their websites. It seems as tho $400 for a full day is pretty typical. I have seen a few charters that are cheaper and one that is offering a first time discount. As of right now I would have to go with the cheaper rates only because I have nothing else to distinguish one from the other. I am now looking for additional information that will help me decide who to go with. Being from Michigan, this will be our first saltwater fishing experience. I want to make this a memorable trip for my son and I. I am probably more interested in numbers and varities of fish than I am size.
Can anyone offer any names that they would recommend?

    Thanks

I suggest Double Trouble Charters, out of Dixie Lee tackle shop on Cortez Blvd heading to Bayport. They are very good and know the area for inshore.

I, too will recommend the Magnusun brothers that run charters out of Dixie Lee. They have some neat Pangas that get into some really skinny water and should be good for charters in April. Here is a link...
