hi all

This is my first post and I thought i'd give a summary of my adventures in Fuerteventura over the last year. For those who don't know, Fuerteventura is one of the canary islands which are the southern most part of europe.

on my visit in march i was lucky to catch this 11lb Bluefish on a 30lb fluorocarbon hook trace. I didn't know what it was at first but it went like a rocket!!

also i caught it on film CLICK HERE
and I also caught some nice bream.

i went back in june 2010 and had a slow week and only managed to lose a large eagle ray, 3 times!! This film contains expletives. i apologise. CLICK HERE

I then returned to the island in october and had a great visit. on the first night i went to a beach mark with the local tackle shop owner, Aram (gone Fishing) and within 15min he had THIS HAPPEN!!

the next night i caught this 50lb spiny butterfly ray

and a spider octopus

my last visit was in january this year where i hooked an absolute monster and tried filming it whilst fighting the fish as i was fishing on my own. CLICK HERE

i also caught alot of garfish

and moray eel

thoughout all my visits i have caught numerous bream, palometa, small smooth hounds (a very small shark) and stingrays
