The past couple of weeks the fishing in Biscayne Bay Has been on fire. The permit fishing alone has been stellar with lots of shots throughout the day.

One day specifically we saw over 300 permit, tailing, mudding and even floating in channels. It was just one of the day and it stayed consistent all week.

The bonefishing has been good all winter long and with the warm weather we've been having the past few weeks, it's getting better by the day.

Spring is near and that means one thing, tarpon fishing. We're already catching plenty of tarpon in the evening of Miami's inter coastal bridges on fly and with jumbo live shrimp.

The back country of Islamorada has been good on those calmer day's with plenty of shots at laid up tarpon.

Yesterday we went 0 for 3 on fly in whitewater bay, we just couldn't keep the fly in the tarpons mouth. There were lots of fish around, but they were being finicky.

It's only going to get better,
