    Default Persistant problems

I am exchanging emails with a few folks that still cannot log in after registering and one rather big name on the board that has, well, given up on the board. He has logged in, only to be booted out, then logs in again and then rejected, then goes to log in and the screen freezes.

Personally, I have sat here looking at the blank screen for up to 5 minutes, waiting for something to load.

I am very much a team payer and know that you guys are doing all that you can to get the new site set up, but its been 4 days or so now and I am hoping to get this bumpy road smoothed out. Soon.

It just doesn't look good to new members coming in. I don't mean to poke or **************** off anyone, thats just not my intention. This might be part of the reason we have low participation and high lurking volume.

    Thanks for letting me vent.

I too have the same problem Kevin. I stayed logged in overnite (thats a good sign). The color is much better. But the screen freezing up waiting for stuff to load is still a mojor bummer for me. Marty told me the other day that his computer was moving right along with the new program. Which makes me wonder if those of us who have older model computers were the only ones having the problems? I hope not. I love the forum but I aint springing for a new computer just so I can read and post faster. Keep up the good work guys. I have faith all will be restored. Thanks.
Just get him on, then we'll worry about gettin him in!

Thanks again for everyone's patience - we are continuing to look into individual login issues as well as overall performance. Please continue to forward on any specific problems you encounter.

I have the same problems when trying from home. Old computer, etc. At the office, I'm using Firefox and once I'm in, I don't seem to have many problems at all, even when I kill the browser and come back. The site still remembers me.

I might try FF at home to see if that helps.
The only people that tell you it can't be done are the people who haven't done it themselves.
