    Default NJ Fluke Abound



    This has been the best fluke fishing I’ve had since I started guiding. I had the Alex Perfect charter on the boat up from Philadelphia and they put over 100 fish in the boat with 17 keepers from 3 to 8 pounds. The morning we hit rocky structure out of Shark River, NJ, and the day started off with a hard NE wind and very choppy, wet conditions but the fish didn’t mind one bit. As the afternoon went on the seas laid down a bit and we were able to fish our favorite deep water structure and the keeper to throwback ratio was incredible. I don’t think we went more than 2 minutes all afternoon without someone landing a fish. Flounder fishing has been phenomenal this summer so far and virtually every day is the same kind of action.

    So do you charge a flat rate for flounder fishing?
