    Default Can someone tell me what this fish it?

    We were in 700 foot of water fishing for snapper in Grand Cayman and caught this strange looking fish. I thought at first it was a ribbon fish. Name: IMG00538-20110819-0725.jpg Views: 77 Size: 175.7 KB

    Escolar That's what sushi joints sell as "White Tuna" They get much bigger.

    I was thinking the same thing but his skin was shinny and soft. We caught an Escolar about 50lbs and he was brown and prickly this one was smooth.
