    Default Flyfish Tulum Mexico

I offer independent flyfishing tours from Tulum Mexico, into the Sian Ka'an Biosphere, for Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, Snook, Mackerels, Jacks, etc. I will be guiding tours again for a month, from Dec 20th 2011 to Jan 18th 2012, coming up soon. I supply new flyrods/reels/leader material, and dozens of my hand tied flies specific for this area. My rates are extremely affordable compared with other outfitters, and the adventure and fishing is simply fantastic! I have lived in this area for over a year, working and guiding tours, and know the terrain well. I am fluent in Spanish, English, and speak some Swedish.

Are those the only dates you're available. My brother and I will be down Feb. 29 through the 8th. How is the fishing at that time fo year?

Thanks for posting. I too would like to know if you offer expanded dates for guiding in Tulum. The Biosphere back country should be brilliant.

Several years ago, I was down at Punta Allen (just south of Tulum) and hired a local panga as a cheaper option to the "elite fly fishing operators". The federales (they had stinkin' badges) ran us down and escorted us back to shore. Apparently, the "elite fly fishing operators" have a lock on the situation so they can charge high prices. They wanted about the same as I would pay for a 33 foot cruiser with 2 mates just a few miles north.
In my opinion, a "renegade" is more than welcome in that area. I may be down in May. Will you still be available?
