Default Galveston Bay Texas Fishing Report 2-28-12

A big HELLO to everyone on saltwatersportsman! It has been awhile since I last posted a fishing report on this forum. I will do my best to post more reports this year. I am getting ready for our annual Fishing Show down here in Houston Texas. It starts tomorrow and runs through Sunday. We always have a great time at this event. As for the fishing down here in Galveston it has been picking up. All winter we have had some good days followed by some bad days. When we get some consistent good weather we can catch some fish, unfortunately during the winter we get a couple of good weather days followed by a couple of bad weather days and that can make fishing though. Spring is approaching and even with the windy days that come with it we can still catch some nice fish. We have been fishing the jetties and lower parts of Galveston for our best results. Using live shrimp under a cork has worked best for us. I have heard that on some nice days other guides are doing well using top waters on the shorelines of East Bay. Well I post a report again soon. until next time, see you on the water.
