What is wrong with THIS site?

In my last post I made the comment that I wouldn't post any more unless I saw some change. Change happened alright, can anyone see that post within this thread anywhere? That was mid week. This thread was three pages long and I had made 3 or 4 replies. Now most of them are gone. Seems I was deleted. Anyone care to explain that one to me?

Funny how you brought a good thing, bringing good people this site. Those making the calls even used new faces you know personally in an ad to promote their revived site.

Guess they control everything on here good or bad. I do remember it being a little odd when the ad first popped up, I just grinned a bit and went with it. The reality company using our picture had release forms and stuff before plastering the boys all over a billboard and in a sales brochure.

In typical SFF fashion, I just got your message that you sent the other day.

It's not really worth talking about. It's over and I have too many irons in the fire to devote time to this. Bonneir will learn that they need to start concentrating on electronic vs print. Print is so last decade. Declining magazine sales should show that.

Oh, and to add to this:

Marlin Magazine : Renewing so I have something to read in the crapper.
SWS: not renewing
FFSW Not renewing
Sport fishing Not renewing

Why buy a magazine when the net has fresher and better articles.

I told you guys, use Photobucket to protect your photo's. Watermark them and they can't own them.

I'm with Mike on apologizing for what has happened.

Box, Like Mike said, your hard work and dedication is not gone. Whatever I can do to facilitate your return I will do. Your work is GREATLY appreciated by so many members here. The participation in threads I can't fix but we as a community are less without the house that Box built.

I got to meet many great guys who I never would have had to the chance to interact with had it not been for you.

I loved those clueless threads and of course your video threads.

The ball is not in Box's court. it is firmly in Bonneirs court. He told them what he wanted to devote 40+ hours a week to the site and all they told him was "If you want a job, apply like everyone else". I think working for free for a year+ on a site and having an outstanding following is more than any application or resume could accomplish.

With all due respect, this place was a ghost town before Box came along screaming in his every post. I may have read a total of three posts EVER due to his communication skills which are largely ineffective and unappealing to the "masses".

The issues brought up by the OP reach further than any one single contributor here. Arrogance and self-importance are to blame. It's been running rampant. To think otherwise is foolish, whether you agree with my previous statement or not.
