Got here Saturday evening, and finally got out yesterday. Caught 2 bones and a barracuda on the north side of the island. This island is magnificent, with tons of DIY flats, affordable houses for rent, and great people. Weather has been perfect, with low winds. Apparently March was full of 30 mph winds, almost daily. So far, you would have a hard time flying a kite this week.
Winds and tides have really picked up since yesterday. One great thing about Spanish Wells is that the flats on the island are in different areas so you can get out of the wind. Went out today for about 2 hours but only saw mullet and cuda. Again, magnificent island that is more than worthy as a fishing destination.
