Miami Mutton Report More Big tails In Miami 5/14/12

Today I met up with Lorenzo and Bobby, We left out of Black point, in a 35 Carolina, what a nice boat fist time, I ride one. We Got to the first spot in 55 feet ,The ocean was nice. I wanted bait – speedo and live Ballyhoos, when we anchored I said get ready to catch fish with this nice north tide, the bite gets good, I put them both on the bottom , while I caught bait I filled a bucket of speedo in 30 minutes and took one cast of the net and filled half a bucket of ballyhoo and filled the live well. The bottom bite here was dead, we went deeper to 90 feet and that’s when they both got bottom fish, one mutton and a black grouper, while the tails got closer then, I caught a couple nice size tails and they both gave the bottom a break and hit the yellowtails, we were catching some tails that were 23 to 25 inches average only a few were 18 inches to 20 inches. some got taken by sharks and others got taken by cudas, and some would just be so big that they would just make a strong run when they saw the boat and brake off. After 26 yellowtails and a mutton and a grouper, we went even deeper to find more grouper and muttons and there we got another black and another big tail on the bottom,These guys booked again, they were another happy customer.
