Default Today's Question: Do You Cook Your Catch?

Do you regularly keep fish and cook your catch, or do you almost exclusively fish for sport? Do you have a favorite fish to eat?

Depends on what kind of fishing I'm doing. Here in Florida, all freshwater fish are released to fight another day. Offshore, pretty much everything (Tuna, Mahi, Wahoo, Grouper, Snapper) is kept for table fare.
The only people that tell you it can't be done are the people who haven't done it themselves.

    Tablefare for the most part.

When I'm cooking em' up I just slather the filets with mayo. Sprinkle on seasoned bread crumbs & bake at 350. EZPZ.
    This too shall pass.

Generally, I release 90% of the time.

I release most of the saltwater fish that I catch. Might keep a few Flounder or unlucky Pompano. Over 95% are released. Favorite fish are fresh water Bream and Speck. Make two trips a year to the canal and keep about 20 each trip. My all time favorite fish is closed for keeping, the lowly Puffer. This is probably the best eating fish out there.
