Default Fly Fishing Report for Charleston,SC

This last month we have had some big flood tides with some good tailing Redfish Action.Spoon Flies and Crab patterns seem to work the best when the fish were tailing hard but some days a Redfish Toad works great on the fish that are cruising or laid up in the grass. On the lower tides there are still some nice size groups of fish on the flats and are feeding heavy on shrimp and finger mullet so the EP Glades minnow and Finger mullet are the ticket on the higher tides but once it gets low the East Cut Grass Shrimp or the SS Slider will get the job done.At this time year we see lots of groups of fish belly crawling at low tide feeding on shrimp and is just as much as a guarantee bite as flood tide tailing fish.
