    Default Monster Fluking- Pt. Pleasant, NJ

    Wow , what a day! Today we hosted Larry "Fluke Master " Valdez, (who always brings his "A" game), 83 year old Marcello Lombardi, and his son Marcello Jr., and Greg Oteri. We ran up North and I showed Larry the Valley of the Giants ! It was hot and flat calm, with very little drift, but with Gulp, squid, peanut bunker, and salted mackeral, we boated a 9 lb, 8 lb, 2- 7 lbs, and a couple of 5 lb fluke. A couple of fat sea bass were thrown in for good luck. Larry put on his usual show, but Marcello Sr. stole the show ! Can't wait to do it again !
