More excellent day & night bluefishing. Saturday night was another good night on the Jamaica. Fishing was very good early and slowed down as the night went on but we ended up with a good catch.
Sunday we started with the smaller blues and then headed to a different area for the jumbos. Fishing was excellent for blues up to 15LBS.
The blues were caught on bait and jigs.
The pool winner was:
Cd Duong from Fairfax VA with a 15LB bluefish and his limit of blues.
Leonardo Cosme from Plainfield NJ with a 14LB bluefish.
It looks good for the rest of the week. There are plenty of blues around and they are hungry. We should have good fishing on both the day trips & the night trips.
The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail every day at 7:30AM and Every night at 7:30PM
