Fished with my partner, Rob Salimbene, down in Sarasota Bay for the event today. There were about 40 boats and we finished 7th with 10.33 pounds. Winning weight was 14.04 pounds. We caught 5 reds and about 12 snook. All fish were caught on spoons and Mirr-O-Lure 5" Provoker jerkbait (#45) in the AMI and LBK areas. We won a Power Pole travel sock.....7th was the first place out of the money!!
