Default Follow the birds to the fish.

When you see schooling fish with birds on them get up close and cast into the frey. Good fishing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9FQ6rVFbCc

I learned that birds feeding is how you know where the Spanish Mackerel are located when fishing off of of piers. I just came back from Panama City in Sept. The fishing was a little slow but I caught 15 fish. I'm planning a trip to Destin in June during Red Snapper season.

That's good. Some people don't believe it but once they have had success with it they'll look for it all the time. I've seen guys surf fishing run down the beach to get where the birds are feeding.

RedBud: are the Spanish Mackeral good eating? We were out and that was what was hitting along with a very few King's.
