    Default White Marlin? Hatchet Marlin? Atlantic Spearfish?

    We caught this bill back in August, offshore of Port Aransas, Tx. We went 3/8 that morning on whites/sails...but something about this fish looked different. It seems that the dorsal fin is not consistent with a typical white marlin. Is there any way this is a hatchet marlin or species of Spearfish? We do see longbill spearfish down here from time to time, but they are much smaller, in the #15-20 range. Any thoughts or comments will be appreciated. Thanks!
