12/15 Report: Had my good friend Kyle from hawaii on board today and as soon as we departed the inlet got into fish on the jig right away. This slowed, so we continued pushing on picking up a handful of fish on the troll. We made some moves to search for a better jig bite. And that was exactly what we found. We pulled up to some good action with gannets and gulls blasting herring from the top with bass stacked like cordwood below them. At times we couldnt hit bottom with the jig the bass were so thick. We stayed with these fish for 2 hours of nonstop action boating well over 40 bass with the biggest going around 42" and a handful of blues including one beast that was 38"!
With daylight running out we decided to pack it in. Or so we thought.... on our way back ran into acres of gulls! Threw some pencil poppers on the surface feeding bass, and picked up a few more fish on our way in.
The fish are here in good numbers and we still have some dates avail. http://www.thebassbarn.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=312183 Give us a call to book.
