    Default Bay and offshore boat

    I am new here, hope i don't cause problems with this question.
    I am planning to buy a new or used boat in the near future.
    I am looking to fish in Texas gulf coast mostly would like to have ideas on bay boat that i could feel safe in say 30-40 miles out in the gulf.
    I have been looking at MOJITO and ANDROS both make panga style boats that have 8" 11" draft range
    Tell what else to look for or your ideas about the right boat

    Rex, I just ordered a new Key West 230 Bay Reef for the very same reasons. Check them out. I'm also on the Texas coast.
