Many years ago a guy chartered the boat I was operating to do 3 days of fishing for Blue Marlin. He showed us how to make a lure out of 1" Polypropylene line. First we folded a piece around 18" and tied securely the bend. That created a head. We then unfurled the braided line and created like a rat nest of material. When a marlin comes up and strikes it with his file like bill, it gets tangled and sticks to his bill and face. I saw pictures of it but for three days of fishing in great marlin waters, we didn't see any action at all. Has any of you tried this method or better yet, succeeded?"http://www.adventure-ocean.com"
